| The way that a diamond is set defines the jewellery – so it’s vital that a setting truly appreciates the stone. Our designs are both classical and contemporary, and inspired – just like works of art – by nature and by emotions. And indeed, just like artists or sculptors, we begin with sketches, then create a model to work with. We study the model, and whether it has slim tapered lines or voluptuous curves, we test it to ensure that it has no weaknesses or sharp edges. Then, and only then, do we create the mount in the desired precious metal. |

The design has been perfected, so now we can then create the piece of jewellery. To do this, it is paramount that we understand the materials with which we are working: platinum, gold or white gold are the most precious metals, and the most suitable for making beautiful, durable jewellery. Simply put, only the finest quality materials will do justice to our diamonds – so we choose our metals very carefully. |

None of our jewellery is properly finished until we have checked it thoroughly, making the stone and setting work together in harmony. We assess its aesthetics, check all of the settings and polish it to an iridescent brilliance. Then, and only then, will it be allowed to leave us and begin a new story with its owner. It’s this level of attention to the small details of our finish that really give life to our jewellery. |
