Characteristics of a Diamond

  Understanding Diamonds

Often referred to as the ‘4 Cs’, the four core characteristics of a diamond are those which grade and guide on price. The cut is the way in which a diamond is cut to have great brilliance; the colour is vital, in fact the less colour in a diamond the better; the clarity is the amount of inclusions within a diamond and the carat is the weight of the diamond.
